Different colors have different sizes. Black is smaller than the others.
I bought three of these to wash but found the black one a bit smaller than the gray and white ones I bought. Doesn't match the rest and looks weird. I like that they are not huge. I can tell they hold a decent load so when the bin is full it's time to wash. I have problems with laundry accumulation, so I hope that the visual signal that the basket is full will trigger the laundry to be loaded. them in the laundry, which might be helpful. I'll cut off the top of the mesh lace!
