Review on 🎒 Endless Fun and Thrills: Stainless Ziplines Backyard Playground Entertainment by Mark Harris

Nice car, isn't it? Best in zipline sets

The line is too light and stretchy for adults and the tree cleats don't even fit the turnbuckle forks and the turnbuckle is too light. Whoever invented this set never attempted to assemble it! I had to buy another hitch wide eyed. Advice. Buy a turnbuckle that is a closed circle with a loop, not an open eye or forks. I bought a long 5/8" x 18" turnbuckle to give me enough room to pull the cable. The cable should be at least 1/4β€³+ and I would recommend 5/16β€³ for 100 foot runs and 3/8β€³ for runs over 150 feet. I have a 225 lb adult that uses this zip line and he really sags down the line a lot. Small children are fine. Cables stretch elastically with weight, which means they spring back into shape when the weight is released (I'm an engineer and that's not a problem. Steel stretches elastically under weight, just like a spring). If you're adults, you will you need a larger diameter cable. It's just physics. A "trunk protector" made of nylon strips is ineffective and a waste of material. Just slip an old cut rubber hose onto the cord and you'll be a lot happier! The cart is great. The seat feels cheap. I wouldn't buy this kit again, I would buy parts and assemble it myself. I spent more than double to get all the cheapness that "fixed" this kit to make it work. Different cables and clips, different lanyards, different wood protectors. That doesn't leave much of the rest of the kit, that is very useful.

Pros
  • Patented braking system
Cons
  • So far so good
