same problem now with two devices - sometimes it ignores the cut off value and the humidifier keeps working

This thing really makes life easier in terms of keeping humidity levels, but for me it has a weird bug that makes it problematic to use. I am currently using my second device that Inkbird paid for after they were unable to diagnose an issue with my first. Now, after a month of use, the problem appeared again in the second block. The problem is this: Normally the humidistat will turn off the humidifier by 70% as I set it up. However, once the problem occurs, it ignores the cut-off value and lets the humidity rise to 100% about once a week. The only solution to the problem is to turn off the humidifier and let the humidity drop back below 70%, at which point the controller will start obeying the rules again (until next time it decides not to). Since the problem has already occurred twice, I'm now trying other options. First I got "WILLHI WH1436H 110V Digital Humidity Controller with LCD Display". Oddly enough, within a few days this was showing the SAME PROBLEM as Inkbird devices, except worse because it was frequent rather than intermittent at first. This leads me to suspect that maybe both companies are using the same faulty hardware or software? Next, I try the REPTI ZOO model. Wish me luck! (Update: So far so good with REPTI ZOO.)
