We bought a couple of these last winter - we've had a lot of dry, loose snow in Northwest Pennsylvania, where we live now, and they coped well. They're warm and comfortable and we also liked that we could roll them up when not playing in the snow. However, they are correctly advertised as waterproof, not waterproof. So my baby's feet got wet in the rain or sleet. This year we are trying Merrels hoping they will work in all conditions. Otherwise we plan to get them again and use a waterproofing spray.
