👟 Boys' Play Sneaker Boots by Stride Rite Review

Our kid had a similar model last year and we had great success. Unfortunately, this model does not repel moisture. After 2 hours of playing in the snow, my feet got soaked. The boots were tucked into the trousers so that the snow did not fall from above, but only through the bottom of the boot. Socks/feet were wet underneath and dry on top. Still late (and now thankfully the end of the snow season) but disappointed.

I compared to what my son is currently wearing and got a wide size for his thick legs. Even with the strap and tongue stuck out as far as possible, I still couldn't put these shoes on him.

I bought this after realizing my son had outgrown his previous pair. They are easy to put on and my son likes to wear them when he doesn't like what I'm putting on him. Laugh out loud. Highly recommend and the quality is second to none

The boot is more casual than I would like but my kid loves them and they keep his feet dry and warm. Bonus for machine washability!

It runs small, Nana bought my son one size bigger than his new shoes and a warm sock won't fit in it. The next size up was $20 more which is ridiculous. Hey Amazon for the post-holiday rate for size increases.

Nice but my kid doesn't like wearing it. Because he is big and sometimes difficult to carry. She's scared and doesn't want it. I want it not so high but just lower.

Second PR of this sneaker boot for my 5 year old. old grandson. It's more comfortable than hard boots because it looks like running shoes. Very satisfied!

My wife and I bought these boots because we thought they would be a good choice for rainy and snowy weather. Unfortunately, this boot is NOT waterproof. I'm just wondering if it's a real brand or not.

Stride Rite is one of those companies where you get what you pay for! The quality is great, my kids wear them all the time! That's my feedback!

Love how they fit my little one, this is his second pair. The only complaint I have is that his feet are always cold when he comes in so I would say the foot area is not insulated enough like winter boots should be.

I had to return the product, it was smaller than I thought. I loved them otherwise they are very durable and made of good material but not the right size. Very pretty

After trying several different brands of winter boots my 2 year old was able to sit comfortably and only wear these. They are very well made and hold up well in the snow. We bought one size larger than usual shoe size.

Fits great. My child can walk in it, which is very important. He is two years old and has just started walking properly. I was looking for boots that he could wear this winter that were larger than tennis shoes but smaller than actual snow boots for him to race in WA during the winter. This is compliant. Also, he fell in love when I opened the box, even though he had never seen Star Wars. (They were the cheapest in their size).

We bought a couple of these last winter - we've had a lot of dry, loose snow in Northwest Pennsylvania, where we live now, and they coped well. They're warm and comfortable and we also liked that we could roll them up when not playing in the snow. However, they are correctly advertised as waterproof, not waterproof. So my baby's feet got wet in the rain or sleet. This year we are trying Merrels hoping they will work in all conditions. Otherwise we plan to get them again and use a waterproofing…

These are amazing boots. Every mom and kindergarten teacher has asked me where I got them from. They are lined with fleece and therefore very warm. I ordered size 4 for my little one and they fit true to size. She also just hobbles around, and it was easy for her to walk in it (hooray, Striderite). Spoiler alert: Twilight is shown here with wings and we're not that far into the series so my 3 year old was confused. . Fortunately, we got to this episode pretty quickly.

It was very difficult to put my little one's shoes on. The ankle is too narrow. It would be easier if there was a zipper that closed all the way, or if there was a way to widen the ankle and then tighten it.

I love these boots. My baby's feet have finally outgrown them, my little pair of ponies after 3 winters so I can say they are quite durable and I love that they are warm without being bulky. The straps help keep them in place. Machine washing is also best when our snow turns to slush. Which often happens in CO

Great kids snowshoes. They are beautifully blue and kept his feet warm and dry. They are a bit difficult to put on but stayed on the leg. Just make sure you actually unbuckle all the straps as others have pointed out. Lowering the top also allowed us to pull them in better.

This is the second winter we are buying for our sons aged 2 and 4. We love these boots! They fit exactly like the Stride Rite tennis shoes and have the same flexible outsole.
