When our cappuccinatore broke, we bought different ones to try it out. It's an interesting concept, it's like a French press but for milk. The difference between this machine and the French Press is that the FP has a mesh screen, and that is a thin fabric. It feels like something could break easily and quickly. I use soy milk, my partner uses whipped cream. It takes cream better than my plant milk. You need to fill it almost to the fill line or you won't have any foam. I've found that I'm pouring more milk (and more calories) into my mug now because I have to fill this thing higher to get froth. So. not the propellant of our dreams, but good. I think hand whiskeys are better. This is not very ergonomic. You have to pump 60-100 times and it's not good for your wrists.
