I live in a southern state that rarely gets below 50F/10C, but it does get there. However, I move around often and find I need various coats to deal with all the weather the U.S. has to offer. The Paslter coat, while having an impossible to pronounce name, does a good job of keeping you warm in colder weather. First, I made the mistake of ordering a medium instead of large. When ordering coats it can be difficult to get the size that will work. Sometimes medium will work and other times the large is the only one that fit. I am 6'2"/1.88M tall, 200lbs/90.7kg with broad shoulders and this coat fits well, but isn't quite long enough. I suspect that the large would have been far more loose around the upper body while being long enough. The length seems acceptable, but the fit is a somewhat too tight around the hips, chest, and just a tad too short in the arms. Again, not uncomfortable, but certainly could be a great fit if I had chosen correctly. So, if you are around my size you will want to go for the large instead of medium. The length aside I still find this coat to be comfortable. It wasn't so tight that I couldn't move around or do tasks with it. Even as I type this review I am wearing it to determine how well it fits and handles me working at my desk even though it is essentially too small for my body size. Considering that it is still comfortable enough that I am able to sit at my desk, type, and even play a fast paced FPS game (yes, that was stretching things a bit, but it was still possible with a decent comfort level). The look of the coat is quite nice. It's not covered in low quality flashy buttons, belts, buckles, or other adornment's that cheapen the look of so many other clothing items I have reviewed. The buttons used are metal with a silver finish and a slight vintage look. I found them to be rather pleasing and without that excessive style that, again, so many other clothing manufacturers feel they have to add to give some kind of life to their products. The material is a bit coarse, but not scratchy and the inner lining was almost satin-like with a pocket to put a wallet or other small items. One thing I wish would happen more often is having two pockets instead of one and a clasp or button to close it. One is great, but it is always on the left side which makes it easier for someone to swipe your wallet if you are in a crowded area. I have had it happen making me acutely aware of the danger. Something to close it would also make the contents safer and harder to take without you noticing. Overall I do like this coat despite my own mistake of choosing the wrong size. I can't fault Paslter for that and won't. The fit is still good, it's comfortable, warm, and stylish enough to wear for most casual events.
