At first I thought the silicone band was a great thing. At the end of the day the skin on my leg was burning (I only wear it on one leg). As the stocking relaxes and slips throughout the day, the silicone band and especially the points do not move. In about 18 hours, a full set of dots was imprinted on my leg. I've tried wearing a heavy layer of lotion under the bandage, I've tried wearing stockings with the bandage rolled up, now I'm planning on shelling out another $80 for a pair with no silicon dots.
