It's finally raining so I can give you a full rundown. 100% eliminates rain inside the van through a large skylight. I pre-cut measuring strips for each side of the skylight, taking into account the overlap in the corners. I wasn't really able to get a firm, flat surface between the roof and skylight, but I was able to use a roller to push the tape into areas that had "channels" that could cause adhesion issues. I didn't actually have any tents or folds and I'm sure it was luck and because the strips were short and not the full length of the RV. I read previous reviews along with tips and tricks to make sure I got the tape right the first time. Big skylight on our RV, I think 99% of RVs have at least one of those huge skylights right? Anyway, I always seem to have a leak, and no amount of sealant (thanks spouse for trying) or overlap of leveling/non-leveling sealant seemed to keep the rain inside our RV. I looked for other possible solutions and based on the positive feedback I decided to use EternaBond as the next step. After a long-awaited unexpected rain in August, I'm glad I made it. Also, the tape arrived 24 hours earlier than expected. I love being in the pickup area same day even if you don't take advantage, the items arrive so quickly. :) In my opinion it was well packaged and was exactly what I expected. It's a white "sticky tape" with a gray sticky side for everything. If you don't want your van to appear white, don't use it. If you don't want some of that gray gooey stuff to look a little dirty, don't buy it. Live with leaking water and then buy a complete roof replacement. ;) I'm going to use EternaBond to seal our rubber seam on the roof, which is now coming loose as the old butyl tape peels off.
