As a tall woman, 1.70 m tall and weighing 215 kg, I find it difficult to buy clothes, especially shirts and dresses because they are usually too short, too high waisted or too big. However, this dress makes me incredibly happy that I took the risk of buying it. If you are smaller, it will probably look more like 20's and 30's flapper style low waist than 40's dresses. x and 50s. but you could slightly raise the hem of your skirt a few inches to look really good (and show off your legs, doll!), or you could raise your waist, whatever you like. I wanted to look 1940's style and this dress is a delight. The first thing you will notice is the weight of the dress. If you're looking for something relatively modest, with a flared skirt that sways as you move to catch a glimpse of her bare hips revealing (I have a DD chest and have as much or as little coverage as I want) , thick enough fabric so it doesn't get caught in the wrong places, but sleeveless for summertime. I encourage you to find another dress that fits the bill. You can wear anything from pearls to flip flops. It doesn't get any better than that!
