Review on 🔒 Wooden Mechanical Safe Puzzle Model by Masud Taylor

This thing rocks! The whole set is very well designed, with very tight tolerances and fine workmanship. It includes Ikea style instructions as well as diagrams for reading the instructions in many languages and is very easy to follow. Details are laser cut from flat, thin plywood. At first it seemed like breaking many pieces was easy, but I couldn't break any. In fact, you have to press pretty hard to separate some small pieces from the stencil. Some parts come with extra elements, although intuitively I felt they weren't that easy to break. A word of warning: on every page, be careful not to miss a detail! I skipped part 51, the cosmetic piece on the door that goes through four layers, and it was really difficult to take things apart to put them in place. Most parts would be easy to get if you were missing them, this one especially wasn't. I really like that the combination lock is actually functional and has a lot of different combinations you can use with it. I put it on my desk for my colleagues to see and play with, although many people are afraid of breaking it as it's made of wood and looks fragile (not at all). Will definitely try other UGears stuff. . I hope they are all as good as this one.
