Bought for my 4 year old niece who has a child size 11. We bought 12.5 because her mum wanted her to have room to grow and all the reviews were talking about the size. up.ummmmm we bought a black pair and don't get me wrong the shoes are great and soft on the inside and the metal on the bottom is solid but it's too big. I fitted the shoe for my 11 year old daughter who wears a size 1 for older kids which is 1/2 inch smaller. So according to the shopping chart the tap shoes were designed for 4-8 years but my 11 year old almost fits in them. My 11 year old daughter has an average foot size for her height. I'm excited. The size is off. These are not little girl sizes, these are teen sizes. Unless your child has big feet for their age, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're willing to play through trial and error until you find the right size. These shoes are well priced and of good quality, but without a size chart it's just not worth buying. They have no guide to rely on and Merry Christmas is so close it's not worth wasting time or going back and trying to find the right size.
