While I wasn't overly impressed with how this cleaner cleaned my hob, it was fine and I could tell by the discoloration of the cleaning pad that I was removing food residue. I didn't actually polish the glass like I was hoping. Although I cannot fault the product. I understand that glass cooktops are destined to look cloudy and spoiled after a few years. This is arguably the manufacturer's way of getting anal cleaning fanatics to run out and buy a new stove. I would recommend using this product as soon as you buy a glass cooktop. It probably works better as a maintenance product. BUT I highly recommend this kit for stainless steel appliances. I used the cleaning set for my stainless steel dishwasher. It has polished away all water stains and even light rust film.
