When the temperature hits 68 degrees, my Rat-Chi burrows under the covers. I wanted her to wear something soft "inside" that wouldn't rub against her "armpits" even when she was playing. The product was like the picture, with elegant holes for the front legs. Although I don't have a bulldog, I decided to give it a try for my Rat-Chi. In my opinion, this item does run a bit longer in the body (the photo shows the Bull Dog with a few "folds of fabric"), but that wasn't a problem. I just folded it (doubled) on itself; but not too "bulky" and doesn't seem to bother my pet. The fleece is soft and the front paw holes are large enough not to cause friction. wash cycles. I don't really like dressing my pet, but for those who are always cold this thing is a great compromise. Overall I am very happy with this purchase; perfect for fall/winter jam days.
