I recently bought this because a friend had this model too. I had the opportunity to test them and found the sound quality to be incredible. But this rating is an argument against impulse buying. I almost always use headphones in the shop and also to relax at home. They are primarily intended for listening to music and making phone calls. They connect seamlessly to my Samsung Galaxy S4 and I found I could leave my phone in one central location and navigate my workspace without dropping it or disappearing. They are comfortable and appear to be snug. Sound quality is good, with impressive bass response and no distortion. Suitable for everyday use. My main gripe with the Powerbeats2 is the lack of APT-X support. I want to be able to watch TV with them and the way they work now makes that almost impossible. There is a delay of at least 500ms between the picture on the TV and the headphones. Unacceptable performance for such supposedly high quality headphones. Re-pairing does not work, the problem persists. So if you're considering them for this app, I recommend you look elsewhere. There are many alternatives, mostly much cheaper than this model. Yes, I know I should have checked APT-X before ordering. Forgive me for claiming that such a relatively expensive product supports the 4.0 codec and APT-XI. I wonder if a Beats firmware update might add this? I've read a number of reviews saying they are fragile and prone to breakage. As well as the failure of the switches that control volume and pause. I haven't had this problem yet, but I reserve the right to change my review if I find this to be the case. From the looks of it they get a solid 3 stars but not worth the money. Addendum: After using them for a month, they started dropping the Bluetooth signal from my Galaxy S4. Especially when I use them outside. I do not know what you are talking about. It's too late to replace them with Revain, so I have to deal with Apple Support now. I don't know what to expect.
