We got this bed instead of a cot. All in all it was pretty easy to put together. The only issue we had was the decals on the headboard and footboard. First you need to punch the stickers out of the long paper and only a quarter of it was perforated making this step difficult. Then stick the sticker on the area to align it. Then carefully separate a section from it and place it on a specific area of the headboard or footboard. The hardest part was the big sticker on the running board. Even though I smoothed it out and used a plastic scraper to smooth out the bubbles, it was still crumpled on the left side and I couldn't fix it. I will say this is a very cute bed and my daughter loves it. It is very light and can be moved to clean if necessary. Overall, the bed feels pretty solid, although the mat that supports the mattress doesn't feel very sturdy.
