I buy meat in bulk from the grocery store to sometimes save 30 cents a pound. I use these bags to break up large bags of meat into individual meals. For example, 5 pork chops fit perfectly in a 1 quart bag, then I freeze the bags instead of a whole 5-10 lb bowl of meat. They're not officially freezer bags, but my freezer and I don't care.
