It is very viscous so does not want to flow out of the pump, it has a solid shape in the bottle. Applies like a thick paste, similar to sunscreen, lays onto the skin and doesn't feel hydrated at all. I don't normally have dry skin, but I had dry skin while using it. With daily use, it does not cause redness, so it is suitable for sensitive skin. The bottle says it's a daily moisturizer, but you have to apply your regular moisturizer underneath.
