Even unflavored foods can have a flavor because a flavor is actually a chemical that changes the smell of certain foods. You should look for a truly unscented flavor or look at the ingredients to make sure it's flavorless. Almost all Aveeno products are fragrance-free. Warning: I have a slightly pale complexion. I love this product. I went through a large number of samples given to me by my dermatologist and this sunscreen/moisturizer won without a doubt. I've always hated sunscreen because it gets in my eyes and mouth. It's not like this. During a very strenuous workout on the treadmill, it slipped into my eyes a bit, but otherwise great. This product has a floral scent. It's labeled 'fragrance free' but it certainly has a strong smell and it took me 10 heavy washes to get rid of it. The ingredient is listed as "chrysanthemum juice" and I think it's a fragrance. If you want an unscented product, look elsewhere. This is strange to me since Aveeno is usually used for their regular unscented lotion, which is actually unscented.

I've been using Aveeno Ultra Soothing Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 for years and love it. But since I have very light skin, I would prefer sun protection factor 30. I tried SPF 30 once a few years ago before they switched to mineral sunscreen but the smell was too strong so I switched back. It is very viscous so does not want to flow out of the pump, it has a solid shape in the bottle. Applies like a thick paste, similar to sunscreen, lays onto the skin and doesn't feel hydrated at all. I don't normally have dry skin, but I had dry skin while using it. With daily use, it does not cause redness, so it is suitable for sensitive skin. The bottle says it's a daily moisturizer, but you have to apply your regular moisturizer underneath.
