So it's a good idea to change this every two years. You can find it on many good forums.

This pair is the correct model for my 2011 535i. The picture shows what happens after 5 years of use, so it's a good idea to change it after a year. Many good forums have step-by-step instructions on how to change the filter. It's not difficult if you don't worry about removing the airbag :)
