After only using this walking foot for a few months it started making a horrible grinding noise and stopped working. After taking it apart we found that the internal metal parts were grinding on their own, but my friend was able to adjust the worn parts and add some lube. After these steps it works like a dream but the product didn't have enough lubrication and didn't work well until we modified it. I highly recommend taking it apart and adding lube as soon as you get it to eliminate this problem.
