Using DP resets all idle/sleep windows - LG ISSUE ONLY

I'm really disappointed in almost every aspect of this 4k monitor. However, the biggest/most serious issue is what appears to be LG's "unique" issue, where when using DP (DisplayPort), the PC goes into "monitor-off mode" (not full sleep, but setting to turn monitors off @ X minutes), ALL displays LG will shut down completely as if you unplugged the monitor cable. This way all my windows that were on the monitor are moved as if I removed/disabled the monitor. This issue does NOT occur when using monitors through the HDMI port. This also doesn't happen with my other 4k monitors that use DP/mDP. As a result, I had to buy DP-HDMI (4k 60hz) converters *only* for my three LG monitors. (It can be a bit tricky to find the right combination of DP to HDMI converter + HDMI cable that runs at 4k 60Hz). This "separation problem" mostly occurs with LG and DP monitors (search the web, many people have this problem, and usually with LG but not always). I run 8x monitors (4x of which are 4k). (I don't play games/gaming, I manage networks and code so I need multiple monitors so I'm very comfortable with different monitors and able to troubleshoot in depth). The problem is with DP (again, not HDMI), I was hoping LG had already fixed it (or offered an option to enable/disable DCI in the menu like other manufacturers do.) This isn't the case and I would have to exercise restraint. at a low price for this purchase. Aside from the above issue, the picture/picture is really bad, mainly because of the shine or the type of anti-glare they bring to the screen. It's a little hard to describe without seeing it. alongside my other 4k's but the screen looks a little "holographic" due to the coating (this is a coating as I've tried to match every color setting both on the monitor and via my GPU to no avail). I've had the monitor for a little over 2 weeks now. Don't be fooled by the cheap price or special offers. offered. Find another 4k monitor. (and don't buy an LG if you want to use DisplayPort, whether on Mac or PC)
