Works most of the time
The cable seems to be of good quality, but the microphone connection sometimes drops when I move the cable. It is connected to my Macbook Pro and headphones. Headphones work great without an extension cord - no cutouts, no hassles. So it looks like something with the extension cord is causing the mic connector part to fail. It seems to be on the plug end (connection to the laptop) because if I unplug it and plug it back in it works again. So the cable is fine, but a bit unreliable.
