Review on AmScope LED-144-YK 144-LED Microscope Ring Light: Enhanced Illumination for Optimal Viewing by Mike Devine

I have an SM-2TZZ oscilloscope and needed to get very high resolution of the nano samples we tested. The scope light just doesn't work well at the resolution level. The SM-2TZZ has 1X and 2X lenses on the base and this unit sits nicely on the 2X and has an adapter for the 1X. The lantern has 3 set screws that are easy to tighten and loosen, and the controls allow you to adjust the intensity of the light from the LEDs. I can get what I want with the highest resolution and the ring doesn't interfere with the scope and allows for relatively even light intensity. Color correction is easy with AmScope's white adjustment that you have to use every time. Good price, great quality.
