They split up.
I wanted these for buttons for suspenders. They came with no information on how to wear them. They have a button and a nail, so I used a hammer to drive the rivet into the button. I've also tried some with clamp pressure. Most broke off and fell apart. I only recommend them if you know more about them than I do.
