I've been looking for a specific belt for some time, mainly to wear a light, comfortable, casual outdoor jogging pants with belt loops. My usual outfit is jeans with a quality thick leather strap for a holster, this strap is the complete opposite and exactly what I wanted. It's quite stretchy, very comfortable, I can lift weights, bend over with it without worrying about the buckle getting pinched, that's why I got the 1.25 inch version too. You may be able to holster it or sheathe it, but it won't work well, that's not its purpose. It's just a nice, comfortable belt, far from made for extreme use, but it's perfect for my use.
