I agree this is AWESOME quality. I have also worn Soffe shorts and they are second to none. It's a nice, cool, thick cotton, almost like the stiffness of linen with the smoothness of regular cotton. I've had American Apparel shorts for $22 each and thought they were "worth it for the quality" and they prove me wrong because for less than half the price they're thicker, a little longer and feel more beautiful. They are super comfy. The tie came out on the gray pair but I wash clothes often and don't think a lace is necessary.
