Cute and comfortable! Ideal for relaxing or doing sports. I wear them all the time and have ordered more in different colors. I would go by your hip size. I have small hips and went down a size (too small) and it fit me perfectly.

I'm 5ft 7in, 125lbs and they are unflattering on my body. They were too big and seemed cut off for a tall person. I felt like a little girl trying on my mom's shorts 😬 I wasn't a fan of the material either, it was thick and didn't feel comfortable or soft like gym shorts.

I love these shorts! My soffe shorts had lost their elasticity so I was about to buy new ones when I came across 2 packs of HBY. I like them a lot more than the soffe because they have a drawstring. The material is thick but not so thick that they get hot. They are very well made, look very cute and are the perfect length without revealing the cheeks or covering the leg too much.

I read the sizing reviews before purchasing because I hate dealing with returns. Opinions varied, so I decided to voice my own. One reviewer suggested using a size chart based on hip measurements. Based on that I ordered my regular size M. They fit perfectly! With an elastic waist I could have gotten away with an S, but I'm glad I stayed in my normal size. Also add that the fabric is thick and they appear to be sewn well. I washed it once with no problems. Definitely recommend wearing shorts at

They are very comfortable and well made. I'm a medium in everything, I always am. Size 6 in American Eagle jeans. I ordered medium, they are quite large. Very baggy on me. I would size down if ordering again but I just took them home so they would serve the purpose. If you like a wide short order in your regular size. I agree this is AWESOME quality. I have also worn Soffe shorts and they are second to none. It's a nice, cool, thick cotton, almost like the stiffness of linen with the smoothness of regular cotton. I usually wear small with all my clothes. I first ordered these shorts in a small size and the elastic waistband was too tight. I don't have the smallest waist - I'm pretty straight up and down/less curvy. So the waist was too tight for the small size. I reissued the medium size and it is much better.
