Review on 🎧 PS4 Gold Wireless Headset - PlayStation 4 by Scott Clayton

Purchased to replace the AG9 Afterglow headset. The first thing that struck me was how light the box was and I wondered if there was anything in it at all? The headphones are incredibly light. The ear cups are under the strap and there is no loop to mention in old reviews. What's really nice is that they are very comfortable compared to my AG9s. Setup was easy and switching between surround sound was a simple push of a button. Since they're designed by Sony, the nice part is that you visually see a pop-up in the top corner of the TV screen as you use the buttons to make adjustments. Sound as well as Mute etc. I like this part as you can see and hear the changes. This reduces the guesswork when you press the mute button. I've had issues with the comfort of bog ears and headsets in the past. So far so good with this headset, no complaints. The mic works very well and is much nicer than the boom mic found on other headsets. The only drawback is the Sony app. Only some game sound settings can be loaded into the headset. I hope they increase this or at least allow settings from old gold to be carried over to this version. As for durability, I'll update my review if that affects the headset. You can't go wrong with this set. . The audio is amazingly clear and I noticed some noise and dialogue in parts of games that I had never heard before.
