My old Sony Gold headset finally burst when the infamous hinge breakage happened on both sides. I needed another pair and saw they are available now. I couldn't find a decent headset that gave me independent access to volume like the Sony PlayStation headset where I can change chat volume independently of game volume and vice versa.
