These look great. These are for lighting up the gauges, not the individual lights i.e. check engine light, seatbelt light, etc. Installed in 01 Camry, replacing the standard incandescent bulbs. I drive about a thousand miles a week and the incandescent bulbs can make the plastic weak after extreme heat. I put my hand to the gauges after an hour of driving and it almost burned me! With these LEDs, these don't produce heat. These are polarity sensitive, so it took a minute to adjust mine and get them working. My gauges only take 5 lights, so the other 7 went to the shifter, doors, license plate lights, and glovebox light. Very thrilled with these, would buy them again.EDIT: I bought these way over a year ago for my Camry, and rode that vehicle about 50k miles with these. That vehicle is undergoing a serious project, so I bought this set again for my crown victoria. None of them have burnt out, and I have had zero issues with these. They don't get hot, and they have a consistent light. I used them in the climate control module, gauge cluster, overhead light, and license plate lights.
