It does its job well. It gives my hair a very textured, flat, matte look, which is the goal. I like it. I have medium length hair for a man, about 2 inches, and it's quite thick. After ironing, a small amount of nickel is enough. I have found that it is no longer needed which weighs hair down and makes it grainy/grey. More also means it will start to peel off when you wake up the next morning, which doesn't look good. Stick to a smaller size.
