I always thought I was just an unusually sweaty woman with unusually smelly armpits. I've tried so many drugstore antiperspirants with aluminum chlorohydrate or something similar. They end up staining all of my clothes, causing a constant stench in my shirts, and seeming to stop working after a few weeks or months. I know how aluminum complexes work, and as I thought about it, I realized that clogging my sweat glands and pores may actually be counterproductive and can trap stink-causing bacteria that contribute to odor. I noticed that it smelled like highly concentrated bad body odor. I pumped out the old, hardened antiperspirant clogging my glands and pores, all the sweat, sebum, and happily breeding bacteria. And there have been many after decades of using antiperspirants. I decided to stop using the antiperspirant and see if the smell and excessive sweating problem went away as the smell in my armpits didn't even respond to the "prescription" antiperspirant. also an antiperspirant.
