, I've tried many different brands of mechanical keyboards under $50. Here's what I found. In terms of design, they all look almost the same. It looks like most of them use the same general circuit boards. The only difference is that some have no backlight, some have a single color LED, and others have multi-color backlight options. The font of letters and numbers is also different. Since they are almost identical in design, the only difference between them is the quality of the material. Some brands have really shiny packaging, while others have plain, boring boxes. This one came in the shiniest box that makes you think the product itself could be just as good. But then you open the box and REALLY inspect the product and realize that you really do get what you pay for and should never judge a book by its cover. I liked the red LEDs on this keyboard. I almost kept it until I discovered the really poor quality of the keycaps. The cheap plastic that makes up the keys was missing a large chunk on the front of the spacebar. I am uploading a picture of this review so you can see what I am talking about. This shows that if they had quality control, someone would just take a look at the keycaps before putting the keyboard in a box to ship to their customers. At the latest before shipping, someone must have noticed this obviously defective cap during the manufacturing process. If the key had been one of the middle keys, I wouldn't have noticed it and this defect wouldn't have been so clearly visible. Now I'm wondering if others who left rave reviews here might also have gotten bad keycaps that they never noticed until it was too late to fix them. Return/Exchange. In the future I will be removing all keycaps from these cheaper keyboards and testing each of them - in fact, I control their quality myself. I strongly encourage you to do so within the 30 day return period. I was wondering how many stars to give this one. My rating is my personal experience with this product. I don't think a product with such a serious quality control issue deserves more than one star. Of course, my purchase decision was heavily influenced by hundreds of 5-star reviews, so maybe the quality issue was just a rare occurrence. So you should definitely order this keyboard considering the low price, but you should check it carefully. and carefully test each key as soon as you receive it. That's because there's no mention of a "guarantee" anywhere in that shiny box. There is an "email address" for support and a physical address for their factory in Guangdong, China. I also went to their website and there is no mention of the warranty anywhere on the product page or in the FAQ. Having noticed this issue as soon as I opened the box I'm glad I bought it from Revain who offer a 30 day return policy so I can shop with peace of mind knowing that Revain will stand by me when the manufacturer or seller does not deliver. This particular keyboard I received will be returned to Revain for a full refund.
