I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

I will make the main comparison with the previous model, because. It was to her that this unit was taken to replace.
So what got better:
- of course, a good autofocus appeared in video mode and it's sooooo convenient, although it's not perfect, it copes in 97%.
- sensitivity has grown and it helps out in halls with poor lighting,
- writes non-stop for up to 30 minutes with a breakdown of 4GB (in 60 every 12 minutes a restart was required, and when using ML, they got a hole for 3-4 seconds)
- digital zoom is also good, but the lack of autofocus in it drastically reduces suitability,
- Raw video can be written in 10bit, which at maximum resolution gives up to 14 seconds in one take.

Lenses that I use with the device:
Canon EF 24-105 L main video
Canon EF-s 10-18 STM for very wide angle
Canon EF-s 55-250 for very close-ups and also in concert
Canon EF 50 1.8 II STM portrait photography

Pros

- excellent autofocus with face tracking - rotary touch screen, focusing on the selected point on the screen - the model is still relevant and gives good quality material - non-stop video recording up to 30 min. split into 4GB files without spaces - support for alternative firmware Magic Lantern - digital zoom 3-10x - full working ISO up to 1600 - a common type of battery among the main product line XXD and XD - the ability to adjust various lenses for front-back focus using camera software - built-in flash allows you to control external flashes - good Auto BB

Cons

- the video start button has a too deep stroke, i. E. when pressed, there is a chance that the recording will not start. - when using digital zoom 3-10x, autofocus does not work - in the alternative ML firmware, there are no sound path settings at all. - in M mode, it is impossible to set different shooting parameters for video and photo, switching from video to photo does not change the exposure - poor location of the built-in microphones towards the operator - lacks more fine-tuning of autofocus for specific tasks - the built-in flash can overheat in the "machine gun" mode and the device will write you "busy" - there is no BB quick setting button, only two hands can be reached - the face in profile is not recognized and the focus may be lost
