Review on Upgrade Your Display Setup with HP 27Q πŸ–₯ Pavilion Monitor - VESA Mounting Bracket, LED, IPS (1HR73AA#ABB) by Kevin Storley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

live the good life

I was upgrading from an HP 23" monitor that I bought in 2010. I couldn't decide between a 32" and a 27" monitor. I decided based on the price, the Quad HD resolution and the 75 -Hz refresh rate for this one. A good sized monitor 32 curved would be ideal for multitasking I think but you could easily use 2 of these monitors and have a dual setup. Setting the display to RGB Limited is that Contrast ratio really good and the colors very nice.I watch youtube tv on this monitor and see colors that I didn't know were part of the program.I'm currently only getting 1920x1080 because my graphics card is only 1920x1080 output (I have a 10 year old graphics card) In addition, the excellent anti-glare coating does not affect the clarity of this monitor (images on this monitor look great even at 1920 x 1080 resolution fantastic looking). This monitor has a headphone jack, so you can easily connect your headphones or speakers directly to the monitor to get sound. It really helps with cable management. The monitor is solid, I would give it a 4 out of 5. The base is solid/solid, but the actual frame wobbles for a split second when you hit a table. But not so much that it's ever a nuisance. The monitor does not shake when you type or use the mouse. This monitor would be perfect if it had a higher refresh rate, a USB port for charging (so I can charge my mini Bose speaker at the same time while using it for audio with an auxiliary cable connected to the monitor), and maybe if it was a little more. This monitor has a slight ips glow that can sometimes be seen on parts of the monitor during dark scenes. You can't go wrong with this monitor.

Pros
  • β€ŽHP27QSC1
Cons
