Find something better than this

I've had this dish dryer for a while now and decided to write a review because I'm really tired of using it and am going to throw it away TODAY . I bought it empty because it was foldable and fit under the sink when not in use. I usually use my dishwasher, so when I hand wash I need something to drain the dishes. I never overfill it and don't use it very often (maybe 3-4 times a month). Here is my honest review. It sucks. Here's why: Shortly after I bought it, I noticed a few things: 1) The cutlery piece doesn't stay in place. It's very easy to take out of the dryer, making it unwieldy when trying to put it away or put cutlery in it. 2) The flexible plastic/rubber fold discolored after only a few uses due to stress. It didn't bother me at first, but now it does. Just for the reason that only after a month of very infrequent use it ends up not staying extended opposite the cutlery (the dishes go there. 3) The bottom that drains the water into the sink doesn't hold in place very well . In my opinion it doesn't adhere securely enough to the dryer. I literally stop doing the dishes today to write this review. I am so sad that I bought this product. I wasn't trying to "save money" or "cut corners". I actually chose this product because of the folding feature and it seemed like it made sense. But wait, there are some good qualities. It's light grey. so it suits almost any decor. The drain drains water into the sink as it slopes naturally towards the floor. It folds up nice and thin and fits nicely under the sink (where it will stay for the next week or so to see if I get a response from the seller). And for the GP, here's my scoring scheme. 1 star is a product. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, period. 2 stars is a product that has many flaws and I warn anyone who wants to buy it, 3 stars is the middle ground. I recommend this product with caution, but it does the job adequately. 4 stars is a product I would recommend and a possible 5 star repurchase can only be achieved if I have contact with the seller, customer service or the company. I believe that a product can stand on its own, but the company that represents it must demonstrate excellent customer service. I've had several companies in the past "give me my money back" due to poor rankings (no doubt in an attempt to improve the rankings). I was even asked to revise the quote after a partial refund, I am not for sale and my quotes always remain as written.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
