This was a Christmas present for my father, he is 53 years old, he has gout and arthritis so you can imagine how much his body hurts, he uses it in a good day or bad because it works! I gave it to him and he really loves to use it. My dad is a tall man so I would say the highest setting works fine, however I choose the lower setting, I weigh about 123 pounds, the lower setting is much easier on my body. I've read reviews that people say it hurts, I've noticed that when it's wrong or when I've been at the highest level, find what works for you, don't give up and I guarantee you, it will be worth it! The only negative I can say is that the cord is very short, my dad has to use an extension cord and I wish the heat could be a bit higher. But I would still buy this item without hesitation.
