This is exactly what I needed. There is vertical space and horizontal space. The dividers work fine. All of this is well done and we will be balanced. Durable enough to withstand daily home use. I live with a relative in a very small space, so there is no room for special vanities. It's like a cosmic vanity! It has a large mirror and it contains all the things I need to start and end my day - medicines, skin care products, jewelry, sundries. There's even room for some of my inspirational purses. I didn't buy it for travel but I don't recommend it. It is not soft on the inside and is not reinforced for travel. It is perfect for sitting on the table at home and acting as a dressing table or valet stand. I just wish it came in a darker color.
