Unlike some of the cables that come with our phones, these cables last much longer even when flexed and pulled. Even when bent, which they often have been, they will continue to charge phones and devices. The length of the cords is another useful thing as plugs aren't around, but even with phones and devices connected, we're still within reach of our devices. We just got a new puppy and the other thing that impressed me the most was that we caught him chewing and drooling on the cord but only a few strands of the nylon sheath were out of place. The cable still charges and works great. Not to mention that it still charges devices quickly.
