When I first got my tripod I didn't use it much and used it in a way that didn't require full leg extension. Unfortunately after the warranty expired I started using it fully extended and found that one of the clamp screws on one leg would not tighten, so I am confident that the tripod will support the weight of my camera or easel when I use it use. for plein air painting. It's my fault for not trying the tripod in every position, but IO believes replacement should be allowed in situations where there is clearly little use and no wear and tear. Otherwise the tripod appears to be a good product, but any product is only as good as its weakest part. UPDATE: I would like to deduct a star.
