My second finger suddenly started crossing my third finger when I put the weight on it. I didn't know what to do until I got to the doctor. I ordered this and it works fine, just don't overtighten. My thumb was still slightly pinched so I tightened the strap very tight. Ouch! I looked down and my toe turned purple. While waiting for this toe straightener to arrive, I purchased another style at a local store. It was silicone. The bottom was very thick which made it uncomfortable and did nothing to keep your finger straight. This toe straightener is way better! You hardly know it's there.
