I bought this elastic strap due to arthritis and lack of arm strength, it was difficult for me to pick up my phone, especially from my purse. stretchy to have a slight curve to make it easier to grip. The rubber has no flex. Now that at least six months have passed, the entire rubber band has stretched a bit and is a bit easier to grip. Another problem with this accessory is that it slides my phone face first out of the phone case; resulting in that chipaway at the edge of the screen protector. I wouldn't buy this again.
