Review on 💡 Eiko SP13/27-4P Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb - 13W, G24q-1 Base, T-4 Bulb; Part #05251 - High Efficiency, 900 Lumens by Pete Martin

I managed to use the original Coleman flashlight bulb (5317-1001/HS/S15W/6500k) in my vintage style CFL flashlight the 5312 -Series with 8D cells to replace with little improvement. The lamp fits perfectly in the socket but I had to add a small spacer between the square base of this lamp and the base of the lamp socket where there is a spring switch that needs to be depressed to apply power to the lamp. The stock bulb is approximately 1/4 inch longer at the square of the base to accommodate this without spacers. I used a small piece of 1/2 PEX pipe cut off as a spacer spring, but you could probably use something non-conductive. Works great and the light is much warmer at 2700K than the original bright 6500K cool white bulb. I much prefer warm light and couldn't see any significant difference in brightness. In my opinion a much nicer, less harsh, warm light for the inside of the tent. I will buy another one as a replacement.
