An AM/FM/NOAA radio is an absolute must for any Bugbag. It's hard to find a good one. The main problem with survival electronics is how the heck do you power the thing. Do you carry a pack of AA batteries with you? Do you trust batteries? This thing offers both options - and gives you options for charging - specifically solar panels and a grip. It is also possible to charge a mobile phone or something else. Also, it's a radio. Yes, this function is also required. If I could change something I would make rechargeable batteries easily accessible, switch the charging port to USB-C, add high-capacity charging via USB-C, and add a storage compartment (or make the device smaller).
