The material is like cotton, nice and smooth. I hate the feel of microfiber sheets/quilts and was happy with the feel of this duvet cover. It was on a full size bed and it looks like the correct sheets only come in twin and twin sizes. I wish I had ordered the right sheets. I washed and dried the duvet cover and it came through with no problems which worried me a little as there are conflicting care instructions. It's not visible in the photos, but between one of the rows of bunnies, the words "I am a bunny" are repeated on the cover. I would prefer it without as I think it states a bit of the obvious. I would will buy it again, it looks and feels good, great addition to my child's bedroom.
