Plan your layout first for best results.

Choosing the right light bar length for your TV is paramount to a perfect installation. More on this topic follows below. Remember the tape on these lights is very strong! If your original layout doesn't go all the way through or is too long and overlapping, the strength of the tape can make it nearly impossible to remove the strip so you can reapply it. If you try to remove the tape by pulling on it, you can damage the tape. It is recommended not to remove the backing of the tape in preparation for installation. Instead, use painter's tape or painter's tape to (temporarily) attach the light band to the back of the TV by moving the light band in or out around the edges until you find the distance you need to successfully go around the entire perimeter, without breaking. . Where to position the strip, how far from the outside edge, is there an ideal position? Many seem to agree that the ideal location for these light bars is around 2.5 inches from the edge of the screen, although the included installation instructions simply state that they must be installed within 4 inches of the edges. In my particular setup with the XL kit on my 65" tv, I found that I placed them 4" from the edge, I had more than a foot, but when I placed them 2.5" from the edge, I missed her by a few inches. In the end, I found that by placing the outside edge of the light bar 3" from each edge, I could fit it perfectly around my 65" TV with no unlit spaces or unnecessary overlap. Practice test placement and you'll be much happier with the setup and the end result. Some have indicated that based on the information provided they bought the correct kit for their TV, but in the end... the kit wasn't enough to cover the entire scope. on the back of your TV. They were either a few inches shorter or a few inches longer. In order not to encounter this problem, I read the description of each kit. Depending on the size and color, there are different variants of the Luminoodle kit. The screen sizes listed among the many options available indicate that the XL is intended for a 41-59" TV, which seems to indicate that it will be too small for my 65" screen, however if you look at the different images on the left of the listing you will see an image showing a table of different TV screen sizes. The picture for XL indicates that it fits a 55-75 inch screen which should fit my 65 inch screen. See attached photo regarding confusion. I wanted to make sure the kit I bought would do this all round. Should I select my kit based on a table showing TV screen dimensions and the appropriate kit, or should I make my choice based on the size shown in the different size and color options available? After a long search, I decided on the X-Large (41-59 inches). Regardless of the size you order, as you can imagine, the larger the height and width of the rectangle of lights on the back of your TV, the longer the strip you will need. My TV mount is fully adjustable. During my setup placement experiments, I found that when the light bar was placed very close to the outside edge of the TV and the TV was flush or flush with the wall, the lighting was brighter, but the light bar was bouncing bright LED spots at every point against the wall. . Moving the TV farther from the wall allowed the light to spread out into a more even glow. Moving the light bar further from the outer edge of the TV eliminates the bright spots around the TV and the glow becomes more even, but not as bright. I was able to balance the brightness with the remote and increase the brightness level. Very happy with the end result!
