My my La Crosse TX63U-IT anemometer (wind sensor) requires rechargeable AAA alkaline batteries

My my La Crosse TX63U-IT anemometer (wind sensor) requires rechargeable AAA alkaline batteries. These batteries are ideal for this purpose. Some people think that rechargeable alkaline batteries are only good for a few (50-100) charges. In my application, they are charged by a small solar panel during the day and discharged at night. I usually get about three years with this app. That's about 1000 charging cycles. Most rechargeable AA or AAA batteries are NiMH batteries. They are rated at 1.25V. This is too low for some applications. Alkaline batteries have a nominal voltage of about 1.55V. For environmental reasons, I always try to buy products with replaceable batteries. The ability to remove the battery from a device can add decades to the life of that device with occasional use. My only negative comments are that I wish there was more information in the batteries. what is their capacity How fast should they charge? All in all I recommend these. Who is the manufacturer? They are made in China.
