I received the 4claws flat scratching posts a few weeks ago. My youngest kitten, who was only 10 weeks at the time, loved it. The older kitten, 12 weeks old, was completely uninterested. However, they both like her a lot lately. It didn't prevent all scratches on front chairs or stairs, but let's face it, that's what kittens do. I will buy them again when the kittens are worn out. LOL I would recommend them. By the way, I don't like using catnip, especially on kittens. That's one of the cool things about these pads. No catnip!
