My son got this for his first birthday and he likes it, he's probably still a bit young and will grow into it which will be nice but he loves the tools. The drill is electric and because he's little and doesn't understand he often holds the bit still while holding it on but it must have a special feature for that kind of thing because it hasn't broken yet! Took a bit of putting together but not too hard. I threw away the instructions on how to make the things out of the 'wood' pieces and can't find replacement instructions for those anywhere! It's not obvious how to put them together so make sure you hold onto those.
